Frustration

Postby Jayhawk Jake » Tue Oct 30, 2007 12:38 am

I'm just getting frustrated with my laptop.  Something is wrong, but I dont know what.  The Crysis demo, can barely run above low settings (have one or two on high and everything else is medium or low), and it says I'm not DX10 compatible.  I tried downloading new drivers from nVidia, says there aren't any.  Tried downloading microsoft hotfixes, says they aren't compatible.

Could it be that nHancer is confusing things?

You along with me have the same problems...And the reason...

nVidia does not release drivers for Notebook video cards...Thus, the new Forceware drivers will not work with the any of the M series cards... :-/ :-/

Which really bites hard because those that purchased such high end laptops actually bought a product that doesn't suit the intended purpose. That is a lawful reason to return the product for a full refund in some lands.

Well that's complete and utter bullshit!  I guess it's off to call nVidia and complain and maybe ask for some sort of compensation.  Possibly contact Asus too, although I don't have anything against them
