wideview screens

Postby luke » Fri Oct 19, 2007 3:50 am

The last 2 yrs got used to 2 old CRT monitors for fs9, and is a must now.

I am trying out a 19" wideview LCD-TFT, on loan the local shop's demo, and in order to avoid using the cumbersome 17" CRT as the second screen, is there a way to split the wideview LCD in two (1/4 & 3/4s say), as there is packs of room to have on the side fsNav etc.

Yours as ever                  luke

Yes, use Windowed Mode and create 2 windows.  Create a new Window with the [ key. Drag them to any size you want.
Haven't got FS on this PC but it should be under the Views menu???

By jove you clever dick, done it again!!.

And would you beleave me?, thought of redusing the fs9 window a bit, but then waved away the idea thinking the new windows I create would not drag out, as did in my two monitors. So there was no magic trick with 2 monitors after all.

BUT they do the same if I r/click & tick "Unlock", and I give me 5/6ths screen for fs9 (15" Lt o R).

Only use the small windows occasionally.

Much obliged again,                  luke
