Ok, this is a pc I'm considering purchasing, what changes would you guys suggest? I dont have ram on there, as I already have some.

My budget should be about $3000 so it's at the top end of what I would like to spend atm.

With your budget you should go with an ASUS P5E3 DELUXE which has the new X38 chipset. You also forgot to mention RAM: go with 2 x 2GB kits (I couldn't find any DDRIII modules being sold separately) of DDRIII at 1600Mhz or 1800Mhz. I would go with 2 x CELLSHOCK MICRON 8-7-6-21 Dual Channel 2GB. You should also consider Crucial modules.
