Hi John
My projector is an Infocus LP280. At 5 feet I get 38 inch screen. I think that at this sort of distance, they are all pretty much the same give or take an inch. On thing to remember though, is the point angle of the projector. As you will not be able to have the projector directly in front of you, I am assuming it will be above an behind you. At such a short projection distance, the point down angle my have a significant effect on the projected screen. It will end up wedge shaped. Most projectors have a "keystone" button to adjust the angle of the picture, but it may not be able to compensate fully for such a short distance and angle combination. I would before you buy, work out the rough angle and distance and then roughly try to mimic that in the shop before you buy. Some projectors may be able to cope better than others. My projector is a business machine, at 10', I get a 10' screen which can cope well with quite hard angles laterally and horizontally and works well at the lower distances for FSX.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
