Using an XBox 360 controller...

Postby Jayhawk Jake » Thu Sep 27, 2007 2:08 pm

...in FS9!  It works, but theres one problem...throttle.  I use the left thumbstick for aileron/elevator, the right one for rudder, and the triggers for throttle (I have an X52 but I'm trying this for alternatives for when I don't have my joystick ie when I go on breaks, also just out of curiosity).  The issue with throttle is it defaults at 50% and doesn't 'stick' to values like on a throttle quad.  Any ideas on how to change this?

Have you set up the controller in Windows and then in FS?
Have you ste the slider bar for the controller in FS so it is all the way to the right rather than needing multiple presses?

The triggers are an axis in windows....its at 0 when you don't touch them and increases to + and - 50 I guess.
