I need a good computer for FSX...

To tell you the truth I don't think anything under $1000 can run FSX with good looking graphics. Whatever the price, just make sure you get 1gb ram, 256mb video, and a dual core processor. I would raise your $1000 to $1500. You're even gonna have problems running FS2004 on a $500 pc.

oh. well, that acer computer is nice but i cant afford a screen with that. ANY computer will run FSX better than the laptop i have now. I have a PCI port graphics card that wont work on my laptop (PCI, duh) and my desktop is old so it wont run it either. It's an ATI 6.....somethin'. I'll check it out later. I run FSX on my laptop (bought the laptop in 2004) and it runs FSX on everything on low

How about a computer that doesn't quite run FSX with full graphics or descent at least but runs it smoothly? My current computer is a pentium 4 processor and is friiiied. Or a computer that will run fs9 very well. I'm about given up on FSX it's such a pain.

Yea, if I were you, I'd just stick with FS9 because a $500 pc will handle FS9 much better than FSX. You would need a $1000+ pc so that FSX could look better than FS9.

I decided to save up my money until I get enough for a computer that will run FSX good and last a few years.

New plan: selll, get fs9 and get a new better computer. Problem solved. oof, I hope.

You can go either way... buy a medium-end computer now and play FS9 and then buy a good computer next year that can handle FSX propperly.... OR... just get more money and then buy a really good computer just for FSX.
