Can't quite tell the difference...

Postby Mobius » Sat Sep 15, 2007 10:27 pm

I'm going to buy a 7600 GT, and I've found these two at Newegg, but there's a $40.00 price difference between the two, and other than the 100 MHz in clock speed, I can't really tell why.  Is there something I'm not seeing...?

This is a far better card for your money as the 7600gt is bottom of the pile.

Thanks waspi, would it be worth it to spend a little extra money to get the 512 MB version? ;)

Also, it looks like that card has a different kind of power connection than I have (I can't tell, I'm not by my computer right now), so would I have to get a different power supply too, or is there some sort of adapter or something that would work?

Go for the 512mb then ;)http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102071 this is the one I have.
You only need the 3 molex connectors (power cable) 2 for the card one for the power.
