I use these 3:

www.overclockers.co.uk

www.ebuyer.co.uk

www.dabs.com

Shop around at all three.  If you want to get all the components from one supplier it won't cost you much more...they're pretty competetive with each other.

overclockers seems a little bit more expensive

ebuyer is about the same as cclonline

dabs seems a bit more expensive in places, but i think it evens out

I've been dabbing with Dabs since Dabs was invented...
...excellent, speedy service, and never been let down!

Overall, their prices seem to reasonable, with a good range of products.

I regularly receive their Quarterly Catalogue containing all sorts of goodies... :)...!

F....Dabbling in all sorts of things...;)...!

P.S. ...odds and ends, I get from my local Maplin Store...;)...!

Try these two as well:

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/
http://www.aria.co.uk/

Never had any problems with either.

Aria have some excellent deals on PC Power and cooling PSUs at the mo too, have a look at their "Super Specials"
Steer clear of anything with a screen at Aria though unless you are willing to pay an extra

so im wondering, what would you say is a cheapish place to get high quality parts?

Anywhere other than the UK.  C'mon over here to the 'states, get a hotel room, order some stuff from newegg online, priority ship to your hotel, build it in your hotel room, sneak the new PC through customs back in to the UK.  I'd bet a London/NY flight, a week's hotel stay, a week's worth of restaurant food and priority shipping on all your parts will be cheaper than doing it at home in the UK the "normal" way.  Plus you'll get to see all the sites in NYC for "free".  I've found our prices are FAR lower than yours on this kind of thing.  Just don't get caught...
