Sounds about right to me. I'm using the x1550, and I'd sell that one for 30-35 pounds if I ever decided to stop being a cheapskate and upgrade.  ;)

Machine....;)...!

Just a suggestion...

I always keep all my "Old" cards, etc, (Motherboards, Graphics, Sound, Modems, etc.), as a back-up, just in case anything goes wrong with my present set-up.

I can always plug them back in and get back on line to sort any problems out then!

Your "old stuff" is worth nothing!....so why get rid of it?... :o...!

F... 8-)...!

Over the years, I've lost count of the number of times when my Computer has gone "Tits-up", and been forever grateful that I still have examples of my "old stuff" around to get me working temporally again...;)...!

An old 3DFX Voodoo Graphics Card, and it's CD driver, is sometimes worth it's weight in gold, when its sitting, waiting, in your bedroom cupboard...
..trust me... ;)...!

hmm, so you think i should keep it for eternity... or just have it as spare for a while?

i guess i could keep it. i plan to build my own computer one day... then i can take the upgraded stuff out of this computer, put it in the new one and shove the old stuff back in (such as quad core processor and 8600GTS *evil look*)
