Using a laptop as a desktop display

Postby bok269 » Tue Aug 21, 2007 12:10 pm

A quick question.  If I were to have both a laptop and a desktop, could both use the laptop display?

i highly doubt it. the laptop only outputs the signal, it doesnt take them in

that said, ive seen a laptop dual screening with a tower. the mouse could run across 3 monitors. the first 2 were powered by the laptop (running windows and linux) and the third screen was powered by the tower... yet it stays in multiscreen and ran another OS too. no idea how it was done

lots of laptops can do dual screening too
