Microsoft has announced Vistas Servie Pack 1, and with it DirectX 10.1. The new DirectX is not compatible with any existing DirectX 10 hardware. There goes $200.

Doesn't that just mean that your DX10 card can still run 10.1 but it just won't be compliant? I don't see what the big deal is about, or maybe I'm just being dense. :-?

I have add a correction to this

FSX will not be using any DX10.1 features. It will only be DX10.
