I know it has the 6-pin connector, but my computer I think its the C521 with the big case, if so I probably have this :280 Watt DC Power Supply. I can't tell for sure until I get home.

Thanks
Dan

I hope it is the big case ..because if its the 4.5" narrow case then even if the PSU fits..the ventilation will be constricted.

OK I will measure tonight and check on the PSU watts, I'll post it later tonight. But I'm 100% sure that the case is at least 9" wide.

Thank you  jimcooper1, man I was really lost in my search for this info you are making it some much easier and understandable.

I appreciate it

Dan

You guys were right (as usual  :) ), my PSU unit is rated at 305W, and the size of it is 6"H x 4"W x 6"D, so I guess that means I need a new PSU. The case is 7" wide.

Jim, do you think that PSU that you recommended is going to fit my case?

Man I finally feel close to getting it done, thanks to you guys.

Just now got a chance to check the screw point and fan position for the PSU and it is a perfect match.

So here's the final list of Items I'm going to purchase:

Ram Memory

PSU

Video Card

This will set me up for FS9 for good while and may be the basis for FSX in the future (obviously with some additions)

Thanks to all of you for your comments and help.
