Its 1978 spec electrics... modded the distributor board so we can have an electric oven and still run the washing machine on a separate group. Before getting the 25A main fuse we had a 16A one that died somewhere around christmas a year or so ago

But it should handle a 1000W PSU... Have done 2x1500W air heater + 2x400W computer on it whitout anything going wrong

Thats the usual fullrange spec you got on PSUs... 12A fuse looks like the 110V rating, so its somewhere around 6 or 7 for 240V

I suspected the same as well, but as an electrical engineer I also know better than to quote a spec without knowing the design of a system for sure.

By calculation and using base formulas it should be right around 6.4 to 6.8 give or take but as I said, that does not take into account the engineer who designed the unit or its efficiency either.

I would get a quote from them to be sure unless you know you can handle a bit more. But none the less, I don
