WOAH!

Postby Mees » Wed Jul 25, 2007 7:00 am

Learned a lesson today, went cleaning my HDD, went from 5,2GB free to 61GB!!

So boys and girls, no matter your specs, every PC can become slow, and fast again :D

I've cleaned 20gb off my laptop's hard disk several times now, and it does run a lot better. But im reinstalling windows on it over the weekend, because even with 15gb free i'm starting to feel the blunt side of its 1.5ghz Celeron M with half a gig of RAM. Even booting up can take anywhere up to 20 minutes now...

Something tells me that its time for a new processor. Celeron M 530s are pretty cheap now. As are new laptops ;)

Precisely. Which is why I aim to suck just a bit more life out of this laptop, so that when i go to college I have an excuse to buy an uber-cool UMPC or tablet
