Give me a review!

Postby Kaworu » Sun Jun 24, 2007 10:59 am

What do you think of the GeForce 6200 OC (APG, 256mb)? It's in my price range.

Here's the place I'm buying it from, and a page on it.

Thanks! ;D

It appears to be a rather out of date card, taking in consideration its pixel shader, and AGP technology. Also DX10 is around the corner and all new gaming/siming prolly will need DX10.

Save up and buy newer technology if you can  :-/

Yeah stay away from that card from Best Buy. Personally this one seems like the way to go:

Although I don't know what your pricerange is I would recommend a Gainward Bliss 7800 GS+.
When I bought it last year september, that card was the fastest AGP card available and I still love it!

Alternatively you might check out their 7900 GS.

I don't think they sell these cards in the US but you might want to give them a call: http://www.gainward.com/en/contact.html.

Remember: Fastest AGP cards in the world come from Gainward ;)

Being still devoted to my AGP Mother board, like Harold, I recently purchased the Gainward Winfast 7800GS AGP card for

But nevermind ... should basically be the same card. How's it coming along?
Fancy posting a couple of your already famous McDonalds shots from the new card?

I'm really curious ;)

The 7300 series are completely worthless. The 7600GT is a good midrange card, but as is the ATi Radeon X1950 Pro.

If you want a really good deal, check out my thread.

Mid range is my range, and I had bad experience with ATI, so I'm going with 7600. I am only 15, so I'm not allowed using ebay. Thanks for the offer Cameron. I'm just very tight in the financial area, so I am very, very limited in what I can afford.
