Go to the Manufacture web site and get the specs

What you look for is the EFFICIENCY RATING at TEMP first. If it is 80 or above, go to the next step which is to look at the TEMP SPEC for the efficency

http://www.ocztechnology.com/drivers/Ga ... _chart.jpg

High efficiency
80% @ 115V (Typical load)
83% @ 230V (Typical load)

Looks VERY good!

As a follow up to my post and so people undertsand the difference between a CHEAP power supply and a GOOD power supply lets compare another one to the OCZ unit posted above that has a very similar power output rating of 600watts

http://www.pcpower.com/products/viewpro ... how=S61EPS

First we find the Efficiency RATING

High Efficiency (83%); .99 Active PFC

to much information?   ;D

Sorry, I was just trying to help you and everyone else.

There is an old saying,

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime

or something like that

I thought what I posted was easy to follow, sorry if it wasn't

the power supply you posted will work if the video card does not need more than 30A and the system is not running a quad core processor, and, the video card has 2 power inputs on it.

Otherwise I would not use it and find a better one

It's not 80 bucks for 600watts. You wont be getting 600watts out of that unit unless you live near the arctic circle

but it will work if your hardware meets the criteria

:)
