New Laptop...

Birthday time again, and my parents have decided they want to buy me a laptop (dunno why a laptop, but what the hey...thats what im getting) ... they have just decided to ask for my advice, thank god...as they nearly spent

As for the new series. The M1720s are suppost to be out, but I don't know when they are coming to the table.

M1720s ? Really?? Like i said before im really quite clueless in this area, any idea's on vaguely when they should be arriving? Are we talking weeks or months? Cheers again  :)

I dont know, i havnt looked, but i've heard that the Alienware laptops arnt bad for gaming. If anything, they look infinitely better than the dell offerings, imho. I've been stuck with an inspiron 1300 for over a year, and i cant wait to get a UMPC and get rid of that booooring grey laptop case.

The M1720s are supposed to be here in September. They are supposed to feature the next gen Core 2s and the next gen G81 cores for their GPUs. My feeling is just more power and less battery. I am happy with what I have now, and don't regret it.
