LCD Monitor Problem

Postby a1 » Sun Jul 15, 2007 12:17 pm

My LCD monitor is just around 1 year old and having problems. I hear a very high frequency small buzzing noise and the power lights keep flickering on and off. (no it's not demonically possessed) The pictures never come on. First I turned it upside down and shook it a bit then it worked for the whole day. Now today i did that and it didn't work at all. In the darkness of the screen i see it go brighter and then dimmer as the noise pitches.

What is wrong with it?
:-?

Sounds like it could be the power supply, possibly. What make/model is the monitor, and does it have the power supply built in, or is there a power block type thing on the cable?
