New Ram

Will I be satisfied for $140 (with rebate). Any thoughts positive/negative about this ram?

The sinks on those are a bit big, which makes them hard to stack right next to each other. Other than that they are great. They will get you the same clocks as my RAM, they will just run a bit cooler.

Corsair are great sticks, and I'm so glad that they are so cheap.

Buy it from ebay I got 2x1gb of ram for 40pounds.

I received them from new egg.....one stick was DOA >:( SO now ive got to go through the RMA process. The worst part is the package was open before I got it.....

RAM has this bad tendency to have a high occurance of DOA.

Well I finally got  a working pair. 3 gigs total sure has made a difference compared to my old 1.5. Im lovin it and getting an extra 7 fps in fsx and it runs so much more smoothly :)

You did good, CORSAIR XMS2 Dominator are the best DDRII modules out there. I am going to by some too for my new system.

Actually if we are talking about shooting for the stars and DDR2-1066 for overclocking I would prefer a set of Crucial Balistics over XMS2.
