Is TrackIR any good?

Postby spacedman » Sat Jul 07, 2007 7:11 am

Can anyone tell me if TrackIR is any cop for use on FSX and CFS3, only I have seen a couple of demo's of it on Youtube and it looks the bees knees.

Prepare to be flooded with stories, well, maybe not stories, of many people getting TrackIR and saving it from house fires, or floods or whatever...  Just kidding.

My honest opinion is that it is the most amazing experience ever.  Videos of it in action are never really up to scratch, in fact, videos of just default FS are never really up to scratch.  The only way you'll see if TrackIR is for you, is if you buy it.  If you don't like it, you can return it (within 30 days I believe).

Anyway, ever since I got it, I just couldn't stop using.  I would never, ever, play FS without it.  It is spectacular.  I would give a 5 paragraph long review, but I haven't got the time.

Just trust me, and the rest who will post below me, just get the thing, and you will be truly amazed.

By-the-way, when starting out, it my seem a bit strange and funny, and to some may make you a bit dizzing, but once you're used to it, it's like moving your real head: you don't notice you're moving your head.

;) ;) ;)

u should read these, then decide. just in case.  but believe me, once u use TrackIR in the VC, u will never go back!

I have been waiting anxiously for my trackIR to arrive since I placed the order on saturday and paid for gauranteed one day delivery, and today i get an email from e-dimensional saying that they are currently out of stock and I should expect have it by the end of the week. Will the waiting ever end?

Thats the end of my moan.

If you thought I was happy from reading my last message, you should have seen the huge cheshire cat grin that was plastered on my face, refusing to move!

There is no comparison between CH and Saitek.
You want "cool" and unrealistic go with Saitek, you want quality and performance and something that will last a lifetime you buy CH ;)
