Analogue Joysticks

Okay, it's not really a problem, but I'd just like to confirm something, before I move on to develope a free Throttle Reverse Thrust App.

I have an analogue joystick, but i haven't got the midi cable for it, so if anyone else can test this for me:

Start a Calibration of the joystick.
When it comes to the part where you push the throttle up and down to find it's full range of motion, only pull the throttle back to the center, but all the way to the top.  So your pushing the throttle all the way up, and half-way back.
Finish the calibration, and test that the computer sees half-way as zero thrust.

Go into Flight Simulator, then start off in any plane that can reverse thrust.
Does the plane go into reverse thrust when you pull all the way back?

I'm just wondering, because if it does, then the software I'm writing will be able to re-interpret a digital joystick throttle value, and convert it to display (possibly) negative values, which would in turn, allow the use of reverse thrust without having to press F2 or a button on your joystick.

Thanks,

Str!ker
