My freind needs help

I cant beleive he cant sign up and ask himself but o well.......... After seeing my new computer i had he decided he wanted one. BUT he wanted to know wether or not his version of vista would be 64bit and still be a computer nerd learner myself im not sure i should answear his question for him so i thought i would ask you...
The problem is its online and hes emailed them asking but there was no reply.

God i feel so dumb asking this question.

You haven't included enough details for anyone to give a correct answer, such as a link to the  product for example.

if the processor supports 64-bit, then he can intstall 64 or 32 bit editions.  If not, then only the 32 bit editions.  besides, i think the Windows Vista Discs already have both 32 and 64 bit systems ready.

Actually the Vista disc contain every edition they sell, you just need to correct serial number to unlock the various features of each edition.
