8500 and 8600 series cards aren't that good anyways, Nvidia went strange on us this time around and put midrange in the 8800GTS on the roadmap so far as I can tell, I was originally going to get an 8600GTS until I realized how awful they could be in certain games... (DX9 cards can practicly send them to the slammer 2 or 3 times over)
