Is my cooler not the original?

Postby blue_fox89 » Thu May 17, 2007 6:00 am

I have a processor Intel Core Duo E6300@1.8Ghz Socket Lga 775, and I saw that the cooler is a Cooler Master [link]http://www.coolermaster.com.br/html/product.php?prod=302[/link], I think its not the original coz this is a Cooler Master, and not a Intel.

Someone has this processor and could help to say what cooler is?
There is difference between OEM and BOX processor? I dont know one of them doesnt have cooler! :-?

I'm asking it, coz my processor stays in 50

The only difference between OEM and Box are that the OEM is just the chip and nothing else, where as the box is the full retail box processor.

Other than that, your processor should not be running that hot. Did you even apply thermalpaste to the proscessor before installing the heatsink? Even with something as bad as a intel stock sink you still should be in the low fourties.
