Actually contrary to common belief many notebooks, though with intel GMAs, actually can be upgraded. Find a teardown guide of your notebook and find out if you actually can. Though be warned depending on what laptop you have, you may be limited to something like a 6150LE or a Mobility 9700. While both are slightly better than the onboard, they come with the downside of being RAM eaters. So you could need to do a 2GB RAM + Graphics upgrade so your system balances. And since your in there anyway you can do your CPU which is almost right next to where most GPUs are. So if you wanted you could do an entire system overhaul. Again be warned that because laptop parts are very expensive, you may end up paying to upgrade your current laptop what it would be to buy one with similar specs however a core 2 insted of that Pentium M, and a X1400 insted of the 9700.
