What is the best joystick ever?

Well I can tell you that the Cougar weighs an easy 6lbs a stick. The saitek weighs maybe 2lbs all together. It feels very plasticie and light. If you have big heavy hands, the Cougar is the way to go.

I think wherever you ask, you'll find the Saitek has a loyal base of fans who wouldn't give it up for anything.  I fly mainly props also and don't really find the lack of weight to be an issue, although I do agree it needs to be heavier.  The cost difference alone is enough to justify the Saitek...

I like to fly in aiplanes like Boeing, Cessnas, Airbus, Embraer and Bombardier the commercial ones, not very much in military. It would be nice i buy a Saitek X52 or Cougar? I think Cougar is for militar aircrafts, but the guys said this joystick is heavier than Saitek, and Saitek is lighter than Cougar, like plastic. Will this prejudicabel my flights?
