Do you think it will run?

Postby dcs1968 » Wed Apr 25, 2007 3:59 pm

I am about to leave for a total of 15 days on a Mediteranian cruise and I am trying to find  way to flight sim while gone. My laptop has a stonger cpu than my flight-simming machine set up for FS9, but...it has a weak video card(no 3d excell) so it won't even do FS8. I do have a copy of FS2000pro and was wondering if that would be any better.  ;D

Even though it is a much older version of FS it is better than no FS 8-)

Im guessing you have a Core Duo T2080 and a Intel GMA 950, OR you have an AMD Turion TL-52 and a nVidia 6250LE or ATi Mobility Radeon something. If ithor of those are the case, then you can get away with FS9 just fine, but don't expect to get max settings or frames. Make sure to do all avalible tweaks before you leave, and bring a joystick.

Oh yea one more thing, if you're running vista, don't even bother.

Cheers

yah, vista says bye bye to gaming - for now at least...

FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack
1, and Radeon HD 3+ Series support.
