You are getting shot in the foot by that card. Its stealing 384MB from your system RAM hindering you with only about a gig (after system processes) for the sim. Ide say with tweaks and sliders at 50% you might be able to see 25~30FPS. The 1.8 C2 isn't preferable ithor. Where are you getting this laptop from?

Its from a company called ASUS.

http://www.asuslaptop.co.uk/products.php?cat=46

Above is a direct link.

What I really want is a laptop that can play FSX really well (75% maxxed out graphics)

What do you reckon ctjoyce ?

EDIT: its the second one there.

See Vesper in my Sig (Dell XPS M1710)

For those without a $3700 budget

ASUS G1 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp ... 8045345063
Or a HP dv6000t that I suggested in your other thread. Pretty much exactly the same as the ASUS, just a Go 7400 insted of a 7700.

Cheers
Cameron

PS: According to Dell.co.uk my exact laptop would cost

Ide suggest to your mate something very close to my system. Drop the processor to a T7200, and the GPU to a 7900GS then it should fit into his budget.

Um, if you are referring to my XPS her name is Vesper. And you have no right to call my laptop crappy when it out benches your desktop.

Well you could do the same name as very good friend of mine "D3ll_b0x" But its all about your personal taste. Are you an AZN freak, a car nut, a hopeless romantic. I name all my computers as girls because like girls they are very temperamental. Another friend of mine named his Mac Book pro Izanami (Japanese spirit of life and death) because it is his entire life, but kills him when it doesn't want to do certain things.

Stock clocks, sadly yes. Once I crank Sheila up to the 4Ghz that I bought her CPU for, no, but only barely.

Lol, due to its speedy nature, or its resemblance to a banana hammock.
