Its like this im getting tired of seing this "ctjoyce" or what ever name is got, miss treating people, if you had a problem with your boyfriend, the other people that you dont know should be taken care with respect and if you dont know the meaning of the word, respect ,buy a dictionary.

Now, to your problem. First you have to know if you motherboard has an agp port, or a pci express, port, (which you already told us the info). You can only have cards with with AGP 4x.You have some because they are 'old" things.
Hope it helped.

757: Look, I'm sorry that I insulted you once, and yes I do have a tough love style of posting, however.....look back through my posts I do give out rather good advice and I know what I'm talking about. So yes do I get annoyed at the new people because they post these very vauge questions? Yes, but the idea is so that the next time they will know how to formulate their question so that we have all the information that we need right off the bat.

Now on to the reason why I was in this thread in the first place. As it turns out, you have a AGP 4x slot. This means you can use any AGP card on the market, they will just run a bit slower than expected. My recomdation would be a ATi Radeon X850 XT for the budget user, and a 7900GS for the big spender. As a heads up though, this system is nearing the end of its road. A 478 intel with DDR2 and a AGP 4x slot are all parts that are now phased out. You might do better to save up $800 for a E6300, 2GB of DDR2, a GA-G965P-DS3, and a 7950GT. That is a system that leaves a lot of room for the future, much more powerful, and DX10 ready (just needs a new card).
