Thanks alot. I was thinking about those Core 2 Duos but was wondering is it expected that you overclock them or is performance ok out the box, as I have had no experience in overclocking and I don't think my dad's customers like it if he sends out 10 overclocked P4 systems for printing machines on all day long. I should be ok about the memory and all, I now what to look for and I'm pretty confident  me and my dad could make the upgrades. It's my birthday soon so I should have maybe

If you go for that Mboard get 2 sticks of IDENTICAL RAM and put one in Channel A and one in Channel B.
The E6400 is a good choice it will be about 15% down on performance compared with the E6600 but t is 30% cheaper.

Ok if this kind of setup could run todays games easily, like FSX then I would definately consider putting alot of money into it. Maybe getting a E6600 and 7900gs. How fast could I clock a E6600 to with standard cooling, and would I need anymore fans as I only have a large (don't know what size) fan at the back and the PSU fan. Would I need more if I overclocked the CPU, or just a uprated CPU heatsink/fan setup. Thanks alot for this.
Thanks

Yes to both. The RAM in the first sucks, but the board, and the E6600 are good.

Don't know exactly what case but its big and has alot of vents on the side, holes for 2 more fans on the side. Don't know about the PSU, anyway of finding out easily, I'm looking for wattage right?

Edit: as in I already have a case and PSU on this one here that I'm upgrading. The case is well ventilated I would say.

I believe I have a 350W PSU which I guess won't cut it right? What Wattage should I look for? Damn, I must say this is comparable to getting on the property ladder, but once I fork out on this new system I'm set for a few years, and finally gaming on my PC. So the only thing staying in my machine is the cool black case and blue LED, and the HDD along with all the wires and peripherals.

So I now need a good PSU (reasonably priced please!)
Thanks

Yeh, I plan on playing FS9, BF2, SWAT 4 and Armed Assault to name a few I've seen. FSX would be good but anything DX10 specific I'm not to bothered about (yet).
