Looking for input on laptop selection for FS9

Hello all  
I am looking for input on a good laptop to run FS9 with some add-ons.
I want the most bang for my buck  8-) as I do have a limit on what I can spend.

So if you can let me know what has worked for you I would like to hear from you.

Probably a good idea to give us a budget. There are plenty to choose from.

The DELL XPS M1710 with 2GB RAM and 7900GS (same spec as the Toshiba) will cost you $2640 but it will have a faster but smaller HD.
Equivalent Alienware $2594
The Sager NP5760-V with a 7950GTX card can be had for $2624.. This beats both the DELL and Alienware for Spec

Overall it will be very hard to beat that Toshiba for price vs spec.  

You can always put in a faster HD if you find disk access bottlenecks some of your games.
Although average seek times between 5400rpm drives and 7200rpm drives are only 10% different so it will be a tweak rather than a performance boost!

Can anyone tell me what flight simming on a lap top is like? Is it good or should I stick with an anchored system?
I am looking for a way to have more flight sim time but I still want good performance.

A laptop with a 17" screen is pretty good ..depends what you're used to really.
For FS2004 you'll get really good performance on a laptop with a 7900GS graphics card ..but you'll need to drag along a joystick.
