There is two X2800XTX cards. One is for Dell, Apple...ect, which is 13 inches long. The retail one, codenamed Dragonshead 2, is 9.5 inches long with a lower TDP.

Well, thanks very nuch fotr your answers. I am not planinng on spending $4000. I was thinking on spending $1500. The thing is that i've seen all this FSX videos and they look really cool, so i want my game to perform like that.

Thats a BEAUTIFUL price range, I personally don't care what these 14-16 yr old "computer experts" say. My rig was $1150 and I can run FSX at 10-25 fps (depending on scenery)

ctjoyce, use some of the $4000 and put it into a college education,  you'll need one eventually.

Trust me college is covered.

No if you want a realistic parts list.

However, my advice to the original poster is to wait.  Don't spent $1500 now.   Stick with FS9 for a year and in 12 months time your $1500 will buy a PC that's as good (or better) than a current $4000.

Amen   ;) :D ;D :P
