Best Graphic for $100-120?

Postby lintonam » Wed Jan 31, 2007 10:00 am

What would be the best option for a video card in the price range of $100-120US. I will be ordering the rest of my parts later this week with my tax money when it comes. My system will have:

AMD Athlon X2 4200+
1GB Kingston Ram
Gigabyte GA-M61PM-S2 Motherboard

Probably an eVGA GeForce 7600GT.

ATi Radeon X1950 Pro. Just barely faster than the 7900GS.

Sorry read that worng.

Its hard to make the decision, but for the money a X1650 or a 7600GT are the way to go. The 7600 clocks higher, and gets some pretty impressive FPS, but the X1650 scores higher in synthetic benchmarks.

If it were for me, I would go with the 7600GT
