Apart from the legality...warranty and support is the biggest problem with that scheme.

I was mostly sarcastic and talking about building your own computer, so forget about support, but it does make ya wonder. And of course warranty is a concern, but I don't see the legality issue. I'm not talking about opening up some gray market for computer parts. Would it really be a problem to send a CPU, some RAM and a video-card to the UK as a gift ?
