Ati 9600 against 7800gs is it worth it

its crunch time for me for christmas the missus says I can upgrade my card so ive been told about the gainward bliss 7800gs graphics card is this card worth the price at

Don't know much about the GS but I run 2 7800GT Co's and love them.

Look I am no expert but by next year or so all of us will have to switch to MS Vista just keep it in mind when doing anything. I have Just received Vista Beta and now am working on the spec of my new machine.I will try to inform you when my machine is set up by New years eve

Just make sure the card you order is AGP, and yes, the 7800 should be a huge improvement over your 9600xt.
