nick send me a link to download the dual core hotfix so xp wil use both cpu's, but since the new forum it dosen't work,

I got the evga 680i & 8800.

I just finish instaling xp, and I want to go ahad and install all programs, but as I'm folowing "Nick's" way next on the list is the hot fix...

p.s. I still have to ask about cpuz shows i'm ruuning at 1.8 not 2.93 why???
Do I have to enable SLI memory? to wich setting? to max?

Cross check the bus speeds with another program like the new Everest trial version or check the speeds in bios. Maybe some auto overclocking/underclocking power saving software is enabled and slowing it down if it's not demanding the power.

Get to know the bios inside out, that's where you'll finally end up anyway.

Here is the Dual Core Hotfix.

http://www.evilkitty.org/misc/WindowsXP ... 86-ENU.exe

I got the link from HardOCP. It is legit.

http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=983781

Even without the hotfix Windows XP will use both cores. I'm not sure exactly what the hot fix does, but apparently it is supposed to make things run faster on dual core. Nice to see you're up and running. :D

Make sure you enable it correctly

Instructions are a few posts down on this page with a new working link to the hotfix post which includes one for XP x64 if you happen to use that OS

You can't return them?

How much are you parting them for? I could use one. :D

An alternative is to put them up on eBay.

LOL!!! Great signature Nick!!
