G5 Question

Postby Mobius » Thu Nov 30, 2006 1:20 pm

I just got a Logitech G5 Laser mouse, and I love it so far, but one thing I can't figure out is why my buttons aren't working.  The left and right click work, as do the wheel and the wheel click, but when I try to tilt the wheel left and right or use the back button on the side, nothing happens.  My old mouse had buttons on the side for back and forward in the internet, so I would think the one's on the G5 would work fine, but they don't.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

I am pretty sure a mouse like that would come with a configuration utility or installable software right? Try setting it up for the buttons to work like you want in the utility or the defualt Windows Mouse thing.... I know it seems pretty obvious, but sometimes these things dont jump out at you

Yeah, I found it, you have to get a modded/updated version of the software that comes with the mouse to make those buttons do what you want.  Thanks though.
