3DMark gallery

Okay so the 3DMark world record is currently just shy of 23,000 (3DMark06). I know that with the exception of Nick, none of us are even close.

So boys, drop em to stock and lets find out who has the best system before all the chipset tweaking goes down, just to even the playing field. Also no cheating, that is just open up 3DMark and click go, dont play with the settings.

Heres mine.

I really need a conroe :(

In 3DMark05 I got a score somewhere around 3500. I blame it on my 6600GT. ;D

If only I has $900 to blow, I could beat you...I could beat you.

And gotta love 3DMark03, I ran 01 just for fun the other day. I scored something like 100,000.

Cheers

3DMark05 - 7366

Intel D915PBL
P4 3.4 GHz 1MB Cache
4 x 1024 Kingston DDR2 PC-4200 (windows sees 2.87)
BFG GeForce 7900 GTOC 256 MB

Don't know how to overclock so that is as good as it will get until I build a new rig next year!

You know what.. I have decided I would like a new system for xmas... and you helped me make that decision.

I also have an electronic chiller rig sitting here I designed several months ago that would be a waste installing in the crap tower I am running now.....

I am trying to outwait the price on an FX-60 and then call it quits for building for a while but they don't seem to be coming down at all.

But the real decision now is wait for the FX-60 to drop in price or a new GPU sometime next year.

Actually.. thats a typo on my part.. its an FX62 on a Asus M2N32 which I find clocks OK but I think the Toledo core of the FX60 tends to clock higher on the K8N Diamond Plus.

It is also cheaper than the FX60 at some retailers. The difference is 939 and AM2

I think its time to play with Intel until AMD and ATI complete development on their next gen of complementing products. I wont touch Nvidia for DX10 graphics until I see proof their slam jobs are actually producing results.
