Need a mainboard ID, but without that, it looks like either a 3.2ghz CPU is about the limit, (or overclock the one you have). Overclocking the cpu you have makes sense because you are not buying a new one for an older PC. An alternative would be to source a faster, second hand cpu cheaply.
RAM cannot be determined accurately without a mainboard ID.
An AGP video card upgrade is possible, but only one of the best on the market will be of any use in FSX, something like a 7800GS or above.
So, basically, if your mainboard can support overclocking, you need some ram and a video card, not too painful.
The video card (if it's AGP) will not be transferable to a newer system as the interface is changed to PCIe now.
