Its closer than you think!

Ive been deligently reading up on reviews on current hardware and upcoming hardware. The release for the upcoming DX10 compatible GPU (nVidia G80 aka. GeForce 8800) is soon so i hear. Sometime around Mid- November these cards will be launched. I for one am considering buying one of these after i hear some news how they are performing (not to long of a wait though). The only problem is that DX10 wont be out till JAN. So, it wont be at its full potential until then. But it still looks promising despite that. its still DX backwards compatible. only DX10 is not backwards compatabile. I like how they did that. With that said....whos waiting to get those cards?

I just invested in another dx9 card , for right or for wrong, I'll let others do the guinea pigging  ;)

I'll get one around X-Mas but only because I'm currently running vista as a primary.

Buyer beware though. Wate for the second wave of cards to come out. The first cores are bound to have problems.

I need a graphics card badly, and The first Gen is going to be problematic? Bah... Well I hope second gen comes around in Febuary because I wont save money for too long
