Safe mode and other options

Postby luke » Mon Oct 23, 2006 2:20 am

How do you get the Safe mode and other options to appear during bootup.

"F8" gives me a menu to choose bootup from Floppy, HD or CDRom.

Is there another way to get Safe Mode?               luke

F8 should get you into safe mode.

He gets a boot menu because he is hitting F8 too soon. My old A8V deluxe did that. There are 2 solutions... hit F8 and when you get the boot menu, select the hard drive Windows is installed on and continue, as soon as it goes past the boot menu screen, hit F8 again

or just practice waiting past the POST screen and hit F8 at the right moment.
