Back to flying!

booyah! I got my Joystick today, its over sensitive and the force feedback is strange, and its too, I dunno, has no Tension  :-/ but for 18 Dollars I guess a Logitech Forcefeedback 3d isnt bad, You'll see me flying again, but I dunno if I'll like the stick, it doesnt center and it has a boot on the bottom (Like those seen in manual transmission cars) Oh well, I'll probably get used to it! Cheers, Gunny

Try adding this line to your FS9.cfg file under....

[CONTROLS]

stick_sensitivity_mode=0

Then slide the sensitivity sliders in FS9 advanced joystick settings to FULL SENSITIVITY.

It sounds odd, but it works.  ;)

ok found it, Thanks congo, you have the same stick? it fixed it a lot! If it hadnt been for that tweak, I'd be mad.... lol Cheers, Gunny

EDIT: after my years in CFS, CFS2, CFS3, FS and everything else, nothing surprises me anymore, if it works, it works! heh  ;D

No I don't have the same stick, but that is a great tweak.

I think you'll like the looseness of the stick after you get used to it, I use a stick that is absolutely free with no spring at all other than the boot, it's the best.

I will probably get used to it, I dont like the force feedback in FS though, but the loose stick seems a change from my MS Sidewinder.... Cheers, Gunny

I don't like the FFB either in FS9, so I pulled the power cable out of my MS Sidewinder FFB Pro, that leaves it completely floppy, but for the pressure of the rubber boot, which is just enough to hold any position I leave it in. A very nice and light touch, I'd be lost without it.

yea, I am trialing FS Force.... it seems ok, but no force when your blowing around in flight? Bah.... but the sticks great, my old one was a non FFB Microsoft Sidewinder precision 2.... oh well, at least I have a rudder twist, optional FFB, and some other things! Cheers, Gunny

Will this work in FSX with the same effect? I tried it once but I kept rolling planes on the runway thinking that this was the cause. My FSX flights are 'hoppy' up down up down when flying manual, and landings take off? I roll over on the Runway.... lol This bites...
