TV - Freeview Cards in UK

If anybody uses such a thing in UK, they say you can view digidal TV extra channels on a PC.

If it is true and work OK, would it be possible to run a cable to next room and view it on the Tely?

My MSI 6600gt 128 PCI-E, to quote the book, has in the back

a) "TV_OUT / Video_in Connector (S & C) (HDTV-output integrated),

b) DVI port  

c) D-Sub port.

With a TV card luke, especially one that can receive "free to air" digital channels, unless you live in a good reception area you're gonna need an outside aerial...the ones supplied with most TV cards aren't up to the job. Normal terrestrial TV cards (BBC1, BBC2 etc) should work fine with the supplied small aerial.

I use the Freecom DVB-T, that needs an outside aerial for digital tv.  

You need the correct cable for connecting to the tv.  Then just plug it in and go.

P.S Use the TV-OUT. You can use it as if it is a monitor.

Just to clarify,
I will use the normal TV aerials in the loft, and

how special is that cable, does it come as a short piece with the card, or can I buy a length to reach other rooms.

Can I feed more than one TV from the freeview card?

Most gfx cards come with a short s-video cable.  The longest i have found is below:

Check you have an s-video connection on the tv.  If you can find a splitter for s-video then you can connect it to more than one tv, and watch the same channel.

I forgot to mention that the sound will not travel through the  s-video cable, as it is connected to the GFX card.  You will need an extension audio cable to connect to the tv.  I know that splitters can be found for those.
