If your going to spend $300 on RAM use this stuff insted. Timings are much better, and it clocks like crazy. Before I had a motherboard failure I got my CPU up to 4.01Ghz with this stuff.

Yeah but what is the voltage requirement on that stuff?  Most OCZ ram has a 2.1V requirement from the mobo, and the Gigabyte 965 gives out a 1.9v.  But I have found some ram that will work with the gigabyte board, so I am happy ;D

The board only gives out 1.9 volts? Where did you hear that? RAM voltage should be adjustable.

well the default voltage or somethin is 1.9v but im not quite the bios expert here... im not sure i know people have had problems with ocz ram and the gigabyte 965 cause of the voltage.  the ocz requires 2.1 and the board is 1.9, and some people it still doesnt work even adjusting, so i think i might just get different ram.

I  agree with Cameron, if money is no object, get two and RAID0 them, that will be a serious hard drive.
