Simply put custom Silverstone TJ07

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ ... ts_id=4142

I figure I'm about to start pieceing together a $2200 rig, I may as well have a good tower to present it in, and whats better than a SilverStone?

Heres the parts list:

Conroe E6700
ASUS nForce 5 SLi (when it comes out)
OCZ DDR2-800 2GB
2x eVGA 7900GT
2x 400GB Western Digital Caviar
2x 150GB Western Digital Raptor X
Samgsung 18x DVD+/-RW DL LightScribe
Hiper Type R
Zalman CNPS-9500LED Cu
2x Zalman VF-900Cu
4x 120mm Blue LED Fans
2x 92mm Blue LED Fans
Blue UV cables all around
Akasa matting (basically absorbes noise inside the case)
4x 12" UV Cathodes
2x 4" UV Cathodes

Total is something like $2400. I'll be buying this in about $350 ~400 incraments over the next few months, with the CPU and motherboard last (I already have the RAM, and one of the video cards). Anyway, just wanted your input on the case.

Cheers

I have never seen that case before, it looks HUGE.

Though it looks as though it has plenty of cooling and I like the fact you can pull the mobo out on its mounting plate  8)

Just hope with all those fans its quiet. That is what i want my next setup to be as my fans in my current one are very noisy, but I dont want to spend loads changing them as I plan a total upgrade next year  8)
AMD64 3500+ @ 2200MHz 400FSB
MSI K8N Neo 2 mobo nForce3 chipset
1gig Corsair XMS PC3200 timings @ 10.2.2.2
XFX 6800 Ultra @ 450/1200
80gig HDD
Loadsa fans!!!

Simply put:
Can you buy me that rig? I'd loose the 400gb HDs though and buy a Core 2 XE.

Also didn't you just get a new mobo?

why do you need 2 400GB HDD and 2 150GB HDD?  Thats 1100GB!  What could you possibly need that much space for?!

Doncha think it might be worth your while (and your wallet) waiting for at least DX10 graphics cards?

I have the Silverstone TJ07 and love it.

It is big and easy to work in. Fully loaded it is a bit heavy and the sides are are hard to reinstall. Other than that it is great.

Cooling is good, the HDD rack is easy to use.

Unlike the Antek P-180 (which I also have), there is a lot of room for the PSU. The PSU area is designed to hold 2 power supplies and the case comes with a splitter cable if you do decide to go with 2 CPUs.

The overall layout also allows for good cable management.

Hey guys. Thanks for all the positive and drooling replys. Its going to be hard to do it in such small incraments, but in the end it should be worth it. Just to let you know my current system minus the 7900GT and processer (replacing with a 7600GT and 930 Prestler) is going to my little sister as a christmas present. She dosn't do gaming, but she can do some crazy photo editing and finally having a system that dosnt lag will drastically help. I'm also making a system mimicing it for my mum sometime next april.

Back on the subject of me. The total of 1100GB is just so I can say that I have more than a TB of hard drive space. I have a crapload of movies, and its just easier if I just leave them on the drive than move them around. Also I have a 63.41GB FS9 folder, so I'm going to need the room for that.

But it is settled I'm going to get that case, sometime around christmas, just wanted to know if anyone had it, and glad I got the response I was looking for.

And one last thing, I refuse to buy a C2E. I'm sorry but unless there spinning that thing at 3.4Ghz at 15*C idle there is just no way I would be intrested. But it would make for a fun bragging piece. And yes I know that DX10 cards are coming out, but again my old cards are getting shifted into my mum and sisters computers to make way for my new DX10 cards.

Cheers
