Intel Pentium D 960

Postby freedomhays » Sat Sep 02, 2006 3:11 am

I have two computers,
one has an Intel Pentium D 960 Presler 3.6 GHz LGA 775 Dual Core Processor,
the other has an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.40 Ghz (Conroe).

Which one would be the better Processor to run FSX 2004 and FSX with. Or does it really make a difference.
Just looking for thoughts on this.
Thanks,  Dan

Conroe is MUCH faster, especially in gaming.

The 4MB of shared L2 cache is unquestionable. Also the fact that if you clock it .3Ghz more itll beat out a FX62
