Meh.
Alienware aren't all that good IMO. I like home mades or Cyberpowerpc. They are good.

Alienware have been around forever, they are now owned by dell which sucks for them badly.

If you really want something like that, go to voodoopc.com

I think Alienware is overpriced.

When you build your own you will save money.

This is true to a certain point. Building a gaming PC is going to be cheaper than doing an OEM for the most part. But the thing that places like newegg and tigerdirect cant offer like say Dell is free monitors. The other problem you run into is that when you build yourself you tend to use the best names, OCZ, ASUS, eVGA, Plextor, etc. So all in all you pay about the same as if you were to do a Alienware PC, but you are useing better parts, and you are a respectable human being.

Yes I just said it, if you own an alienware I do not respect your rig even if it is better than my own.

I do not agree with lots of what CT says, but I fully endorse Alienware-gooberism.

Not to mention those god awful cases!  Ugh! :-X

Mostly just peddling certain brands.  I can't understand why anyone would do it.  You need not get your guns ready; I'm not questioning your expertise. ;)

PS: I don't like being anti/pro any brand, but I just can't give Alienware a fair chance. :-X
