Guys they make different models of the same card ;) BFG alone has 4 different 6600GTs that all have different clock settings ;)

Click on the above addy and download the sliballoon.reg file and all will be well again.

Had the same thing pop up when I installed the latest Nvidia drivers for my 6800Ultra.  I dont know what I did but after a day it didn't show any more?
AMD64 3500+ @ 2200MHz 400FSB

So, the problem lies within the latest drivers....91.31.... >:(...!

I remember I didn't have the problem with any of my previous drivers; the original ones supplied with the card, 77.77 and 78.01.

So, as the saying goes, "latest is not always best".... ;)...!

Just downloaded and installed the nVidia program "slibaloon.exe", re-booted the computer, and lo and behold....
The dreaded balloon has finally burst...Joy.... ;D...!
