Make sure it is slot 2.  Then when you start the system it will automatically change to PC2100.  Slot 2 should be the one that is already free anyway.  The system gets its RAM speed from the RAM in the first slot.

Ya you put it into the slot at an angle, then press down. Now it dosn't take alot of pressure, so if your pressing hard then its probibly in wrong. Flip it around.

Ok, I installed it, but WTF!!!???

I used to have 256MB, i just installed a 512MB, it is supposed to be 768MB, right? Well, I just checked and it says that it only has 412MB, HELP!!!!!

So about the Grounding? What do you man? are you being punished, or are you asking how to ground yourself? You really need not worry about this at all. As long as you dont work whilst a vacume cleaner is on, your fine.
