Hi there, maybe you can assist me on this one:
I have 2 PCs, one broadband internet connection, one Ethernet Broadband Router (D-Link) with 4 plugs, numbered 1-4, and one plug saying "WAN", and enough cables. The two PCs both have a networking card.

How can I now share the internet connection between the two PCs? Your help is really appreciated!  :D

Probably, just connect the other PC to the Router, or get a WiFi Modem and a WiFi Networking Card for your PC

Tried that, none of the PCs has a connection then. And I shouldnt need more hardware, it was working with what I ve got once but it wasnt me who installed it...

I have a d-link router.  If the broadband modem is seperate then plug it into the WAN, and plug the computers into the other network sockets.  My d-link has wireless capabilities aswell, i use that to connect the other 3 computers in my house to the net.

Make sure you have a network set-up on the computers on the network.  Use the set-up wizard in windows.  Make sure you set the internet as LAN.

Go to the control panel in windows.  Then open network connections.  Then click create a new connection (on the left).  Then follow the wizard.

You need to run the Windows Network Wizard on both PCs. Choose connect to the internet through a modem or router and XP will do the rest for you. Simple as that.
